Financial Accountant required! Our client is a large property management / asset management group based in Central London with a turnover of almost £500m. They have a well known name in their industry and occupy several sites in prime locations across London and the rest of the UK. They are growing and are looking at further acquisitions and organic growth; to this end, an opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to support the finance team. 

The Financial Accountant role is a new hire and will report into the Group Reporting Manager and will have, inter alia, the following responsibilities:  

·               Preparation of  statutory financial statements for the group, divisions and individual subsidiaries

·               Liaising with auditors and providing technical support to internal and external contacts

·               Support monthly group and divisional reporting including consolidated profit & loss, balance sheets and cash flow statements

·               Provision of analytical support to the Group

·               Ad hoc projects

The ideal Financial Accountant will be a fully qualified accountant, (preferably an ACA / CA), with proven experience of statutory accounting.  You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work accurately under pressure and be confident working at up to Board level.   Experience of statutory accounts production is essential as well as a sound knowledge of accounting principles.
